Notes:
A rare Red Data Book species, in mountains; 450-800 m (350-2700 m in Europe) in parts of the Scottish Highlands and Lake District; mountainous areas of Europe. Unlikely to be recorded in Hampshire or on the Isle of Wight. Wingspan 35-38 mm. Larva feeds on Mat-grass.
