Notes:
Occurrence in the British Isles unconfirmed, this southern European species is included on the British list on the basis of a a single 19th Century record. One was reported in Essex in 1992. Wingspan 38-42 mm. September Thorn E. erosaria is similar, but paler, with antemedian fasciae roughly parallel. Larva feeds on Oak, no evidence of breeding in the UK.
