Notes:
Common in woodland, scrub, hedgerows and gardens, throughout England and Wales, less frequently, but increasingly, in the north. Wingspan 27-31mm. Can be confused with very faded examples of Green Carpet Colostygia pectinataria. Larva feeds on Blackthorn and Hawthorn, over-wintering as a pupa.
