Notes:
Common in broad-leaved woodland, areas with scattered trees, scrub, hedgerows, parks and gardens, throughout the British Isles. Wingspan 42-54mm. Larva feeds on Pedunculate Oak, Hawthorn, Blackthorn, Hazel, Downy and Silver Birch, Elm, Sallow, Horse Chestnut, Sweet Chestnut and Beech.
