Occurrence in the British Isles unconfirmed. This native of southern Europe is included on the British list on the basis of an individual taken flying with Archer's Dart A. vestigialis on the Isle of Man in 1869. Similar to brown forms of Archer's Dart A. vestigialis. No evidence of breeding in the UK.
