Notes:
Occurrence in the British Isles unconfirmed, there are no documented records of this native of alpine meadows and woodland clearings from eastern Europe. Wingspan 37-43 mm. Larva feeds on Common Figwort, Yellow Figwort and Purple Mullein, over-wintering as a pupa; no evidence of breeding in the UK.
