Status: Rare migrant
Notes:
Rare immigrant from the Channel Islands and northern Europe, appearing as a migrant in southern England. In Hampshire and on the Isle of Wight, recorded for the first time in 1995/6, since when there have been about a dozen records. Wingspan 44-50mm. Larva feeds on Orache, Goosefoot and Knotgrass, no evidence of breeding in the UK.
