Occurrence in the British Isles unconfirmed, this North American species is included on the British list on the basis of two ancient specimens said to be captured in the north of England. Wingspan 35-37 mm. It is unlikely that records of this species will be accepted unless the specimen is retained for examination. Larva feeds on Cleavers, no evidence of breeding in the UK.
