Endangered (proposed as a future Red Data Book species) on limestone downland in parts of the Burren, the Inner Hebrides and Sutherland. Unlikely to be recorded in Hampshire or on the Isle of Wight. Wingspan 4.5-5.5 mm. Larva mines leaves of Mountain Avens, over-wintering as a pupa.
