Vulnerable (proposed as a future Red Data Book species) in pine and birch woodland in the central Highlands of Scotland. Unlikely to be recorded in Hampshire or on the Isle of Wight. Wingspan 15-18 mm. Larva feeds on detritus in ant nests.
