Recorded infrequently through accidental importation in produce from eastern Asia and Australia. In Hampshire recorded for the first time at Fareham on 12 October 2005. Not recorded from the Isle of Wight to date. Wingspan 14-16 mm. Larva feeds on decaying vegetable matter and detritus.
