Endangered (proposed as a future Red Data Book species) and restricted in Britain to just one site on coastal grassland at Hurst Castle and Keyhaven in Hampshire. Admitted to the British list on the basis of specimens taken from there in 1982, but not recorded in the region since 1990. Not recorded from the Isle of Wight to date. Wingspan 7-8 mm. Larva mines leaves of Common Couch.
