Main: (Gelechiidae / Anomologinae)
35.075 [B&F: 0744] Monochroa arundinetella (Boyd, 1857)

Endangered (proposed as a future Red Data Book species) in fens, marshes and by river-banks in England, south of a line from the Severn estuary to The Wash, but possibly under-recorded. Not recorded in Hampshire or on the Isle of Wight to date. Wingspan 9-10 mm. One of several similar, rather nondescript gelechiids, which can only be reliably identified by dissection of the genitalia. Larva mines leaves of Greater Pond-sedge and Lesser Pond-sedge.
