Vulnerable (proposed as a future Red Data Book species) in upland meadows in parts of the Scottish Highlands, rare elsewhere. Unlikely to be recorded in Hampshire or on the Isle of Wight. Wingspan 10-11 mm. Larva feeds on Bird's-foot Trefoil and Bitter Vetchling, living between leaves spun together with silk, over-wintering in a cocoon.
