Extinct in the British Isles, possibly as a result of over-collecting, formerly known only from a single gravel quarry at Snettisham in west Norfolk, but not seen since the late 1980s. Unlikely to be recorded in Hampshire or on the Isle of Wight. Wingspan 17-22 mm. Larva feeds on Hoary Mullein.
