Appendix B: (Tortricidae / Tortricinae)
B031 [B&F: 0996] Clepsis melaleucanus (Walker, 1863)

Occurrence in the British Isles unconfirmed. This species was added to the British list in 1834, when it was described under the name Lozotaenia biustulana, from two specimens reputed to have been captured in the west of England. The two specimens were subsequently considered to have originated from North America and the species is discounted as British.
