Distribution and status uncertain due to confusion with A. emargana. Only recognised as a separate species in 2004, previously lumped with A. emargana. Not recorded in Hampshire or on the Isle of Wight to date. Very similar to A. emargana, but with less pronounced costal emargination. Wingspan 21-23 mm. Larva feeds on Sallow, living within a spun or rolled leaf.
