Suspected rare immigrant, or perhaps accidentally imported, from coniferous woodland and plantations in northern Europe. Recorded only once in Britain, at Bawdsey Manor, Suffolk in July 2007. Not recorded in Hampshire or on the Isle of Wight to date. Wingspan 14-18 mm. Larva feeds on European Silver-fir and Norway Spruce.
