Very rare immigrant, or perhaps accidental import, from northern Europe. Recorded only once in Britain, at Centre Parcs, Elveden, Suffolk on 15 May 2007. A generally rare and local species in northern Europe. Not recorded in Hampshire or on the Isle of Wight to date. Wingspan 9-12 mm. Larva mines needles of Norway Spruce.
