Main: (Crambidae / Crambinae)
63.113 [B&F: 1327] Ancylolomia tentaculella (Hübner, 1796)

Very rare immigrant (less than 10 previous UK records) from mainland Europe (where abundant, for example, in west-central France), appearing occasionally in southern England, mostly in Kent. One record for Hampshire, in 2020. Wingspan 30-34 mm. While very distinctive compared to the British resident crambids, observers are required to keep a specimen to rule out the closely related and possible migrant A. palpella, which has yet to be recorded in the British Isles. Larva feeds on stems of Cock's-foot and various grasses.
