63.0421 [B&F: 1402a] Diasemia accalis (Walker, 1859)


Recorded infrequently through accidental importation in produce from eastern Asia. Recorded from a light trap at Gravesend, Kent on 24 May 2004, an adventive species, likely to have been imported accidentally. Not recorded in Hampshire or on the Isle of Wight to date. Wingspan 16-20 mm. Slightly smaller than D. reticularis and lacking the chequered wing fringes. Larva and life-cycle undescribed.
