Nationally scarce (Nb) on limestone pavements on the Burren, Co. Clare. Also increasing in gardens in northern England where found on cultivars of the wild foodplant, and probably introduced as larvae on imported garden plants. Not recorded in Hampshire or on the Isle of Wight to date. Wingspan 17-20 mm. Larva feeds on Mossy Saxifrage.
