B058 [B&F: 1686] Middle Lace Border (Scopula decorata) ([Denis & Schiffermüller], 1775)


Occurrence in the British Isles unconfirmed, this central European species is included on the British list on the basis of a a few unconfirmed records. Wingspan 22-25 mm. The blotches along the termen are larger and greyer than the much more common Lace Border S. ornata. Larva feeds on Wild Thyme, no evidence of breeding in the UK.
