70.014 [B&F: 1710] Weaver's Wave (Idaea contiguaria) (Hübner, [1799])


Nationally scarce (Na) at 300-600 m on hillsides and rocky areas in north-west Wales. Unlikely to be recorded in Hampshire or on the Isle of Wight. Wingspan 20-21 mm. Main confusion species is Mullein Wave Scopula marginepunctata, but considerably smaller. Larva feeds on Heather, Crowberry and Navelwort.
