Resident on the Channel Islands and rare immigrant on the southern coast of England, mostly from Dorset to Cornwall, but also occasionally in Kent and Sussex. Not recorded in Hampshire or on the Isle of Wight to date. Wingspan 28-33 mm. Unmistakable. Larva feeds on Broom and Gorse, no evidence of breeding in the UK.
