Appendix A: (Geometridae / Ennominae)
70.2571 [B&F: 1936a] Brassy Waved Umber (Menophra japygiaria) (Costa, 1849)

Suspected rare immigrant, or perhaps accidentally imported, from southern Europe. Recorded for the first time at Saltash, Cornwall, on 22 May 2009 . The origin of the moth remains a mystery, since the species is not considered to migrate, however the possibility of accidental importation cannot be excluded since the trapper had spent the first week of May on Menorca, which falls within the known range of the species.
