Local in hedgerows, scrubby grassland, woodland edges and gardens throughout England. Widespread and fairly common in Hampshire and on the Isle of Wight. Wingspan 19-22 mm. Fairly distinctive with narrow, dark costal streak. Larva feeds on herbaceous plants such as Dandelion and Knotgrass.
